What is an Caribbean Insider webinar? |
| |
A webinar is a free online seminar that you participate in via the web. It is a live presentation from Caribbean Insider experts. You may need headphones if you're in an open office. |

How do I register to attend a webinar? |
| |
You click on the sign up link next to the webinar you wish to attend and then register. You will need to use the email address associated with your Caribbean Insider account in order to sign up. |

What are the technical requirements for participation? |
| |
Most importantly, you will need a computer with an internet connection, speakers or earphones and meet the following minimum system criteria.
· Microsoft Windows 98, ME (Millenium Edition, XP, NT, or 2000 with a 56K or faster Internet connection
· Intel Pentium 400 MHz or faster processor and 64 MB ram (128 is recommended)
· Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or later, Netscape Communicator 4.77, 6.x, AOL 5.0 or later
· Javascript or cookies enabled on the Web browser |

How does the Webinar audio work? |
| |
Webex uses VoIP technology so you don’t need to ‘dial in’ through a phone line but you do need functioning speakers/ earphones. |

Do I need a microphone? |
| |
You won’t need a microphone but you will be able to talk with specialists using chat. |
| |

I cannot hear the presenter at all? |
| |
You should check that your speakers are working and if you have separate speakers, you should make sure they’re properly connected. Also, when the presentation starts, there should be a pop up window asking you if you want to participate in the VoIP conference, please click ‘yes’ to this. If you select ‘no’ or if you have selected ‘Teleconference’ you won’t be able to hear the presenter. |

The presenters voice is slow or breaking up. What’s wrong? |
| |
If you can hear us but the presenter’s voice is breaking up, your internet connection may be too slow. |

Can I ask questions during the webinar? |
| |
We provide chat support online during the webinar. This means that there will be a chat window where you can type messages and send them instantly to our Caribbean Insider experts. We will answer them as quickly as possible before the end of the webinar. |

How long does the Webinar last? |
| |
The webinar will last approximately 30 minutes including questions and answers. |

Can my colleague also attend? |
| |
Yes. Your colleague can also sign up online. If you only have one Caribbean Insider account then you should use the email address associated with the account. |

Are there webinars that I can attend in other languages? |
| |
Yes, we will be offering Webinars in Spanish in February of 2009. |
